What We Do
Get the G.I.S.T. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that focuses on areas such as personal finance, savings, investment, and entrepreneurship, in order to help participants to take charge of their financial journey.
Our initiatives include the development of a four-unit curriculum, provision of dynamic workshops and interactive resources, engaging content across social media platforms, and the creation of books and beginner’s guides tailored for both school-aged children and adults. These tools deliver simple, practical lessons that demystify financial concepts and make them applicable to real-life, everyday situations. Whether it’s teaching budgeting basics, navigating investments, or understanding debt and credit, G.I.S.T. aims to provide a comprehensive foundation for financial empowerment.
To date, G.I.S.T. has impacted individuals of all ages by offering tailored support to help its participants achieve financial stability. By fostering competence and confidence in managing money, we’re creating a ripple effect that strengthens families, uplifts communities, and transforms lives.
